The Otago Girls High School Polynesian/Kapa Haka Visit!

Kia ora parents(MĀTUA) and caregivers,
Our Senior Kapa Haka Group have an amazing opportunity to attend an all day workshop on Friday, 28 June with some of the Otago Girls High School Polynesian/Kapa Haka Club members.
Our students need to be in the Performing Arts room by 8am at the very latest as they will be wearing their costumes for the Powhiri which begins at 9.15am.

The workshop will include, weaving, tapa cloth patterns, poi and sasa dancing.    It is the first time such an opportunity has arisen for our students so we are very keen to show our appreciation and encourage it to happen annually if we can.
